This dance class runs on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
What we would expect
To join an open progression class, we do require previous dance experience. We would expect that you are confident in dancing the chosen dance style with a partner to various speeds of music. Also that you are comfortable in dancing more advanced ideas and movements. Each person is different in the way they learn and the speed they learn at, so please contact us about the style you are interested in joining so we can help you chose the best class suited to your experience.

Samba is the most popular music style and one of the most popular latin dance styles in Brazil.
Your dance instructors
Daniel started teaching at Centro de Danca Jaime Arôxa, Rio de Janeiro in 2000. The school arguably has the best teaching methodology and is by far the biggest dance school in Brazil.
This makes Daniel the only dance instructor in Brisbane with years of actual instructing experience in Brazil.
In 2005, Carolyn moved to Rio de Janeiro to commence a full-time dance scholarship at the famous ‘Jaime Arôxa Dance Academy’ in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She worked 10 – 12 hour days, 6 days per week.

Fee Group Class
The more dance classes per block you do, the cheaper it is per class.
We even have an unlimited option that let's you do as many suitable classes as you can possibly do per week, plus it includes dance party and practica entry!
