Imagine a core instructor from the largest most successful dance academy in Brazil, the Jaime Aroxa Dance Academy, to open up a dance school right here in Brisbane. That is Brazilian Soul. There is no other school in Australia that can offer the same level of experience in instructing, methodology, and authenticity.
It is not just about teaching steps or sequences for us. It is about teaching people how to lead, follow and how to let the music control your soul out on the dance floor.
We do have various "levels" of each dance style to suit the more experienced dancers.
You will simply continue in your class, generally at the same time at the same place with the same people.
We teach mostly at the Senior Citizen Hall in Bulimba.
We organise our year of dancing into 'blocks' of five weeks. We usually have nine blocks of classes each year with a one week break after every two blocks.
We teach a variety of dance styles - all authentic from Latin America - with levels to suit everyone from beginner to advanced dancer.

No you do not need a dance partner to sign up for classes. We change partners constantly during each class, so if you come along on your own you will still have lots of people to dance with.
